This genuine Log Cabin
Furniture is made of Northern White Cedar. Unlike other
species of wood, Cedar is light weight, extremely
durable and can be used indoors and outdoors. Because
Cedar grows mostly near swampy water basins it has a
slow rate of decay and a natural resiliency to rot and
disease. That delicious natural aroma you're probably
familiar with acts as an insect repellent also.
Left in its natural
state, without any finishing, our Northern White Cedar
log furniture will last 25 to 30 years. When exposed to
the outside elements your log furniture will gradually
turn a warm silvery grey color. You can lengthen the
life if your log furniture if you don't allow it to sit
in mud or water for an extended period of time and if
you store it in a shed or garage during the winter.

Flat stock is kiln dried for 1 to 2 weeks. Almost every

It is a natural aging process most noticeable on edges
and drilled holes where there is more exposed surface
